Evaluation – The Conjuring: Last Rites – a suitable, if something predictable, end Cinemax

⭐️⭐️½ / 4
The magic: last rites tries to close one of the most successful franchise companies in modern horror with a feeling of final, but it never escapes the fall of familiarity. The biggest hurdle in the film is his overly long act, which drags the feet with setup, which feels far beyond his greeting. As soon as the story finally gets going, the script itself is not much too surprising, and a supernatural thriller of painting numbers, in which most beats can be seen in good time.
However, the direction is robust, never sloppy and the appearances of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga anchor the film again with a grounded, emotional core. Their chemistry and commitment have always been the greatest capital of the series, and Extreme unction is no exception.
As a finale, it is suitable – to turn up the saga of the Warrens with a feeling of closure without using wild reinvention or risky swings. But it is also nothing that reinvented the wheel or the audience rolls after the credits. At the end, The magic: last rites Is an unforgettable, but gratifying popcorn film: Not determined to follow it long after, but only entertaining enough, while the lights are low.
