Final goal: Bloodlines Flatlines – Horrorfix Cinemax

Removed after over a decade Final goal: blood lines It depends on the promise to revitalize the twisted death formula of the franchise – but instead it feels like a lifeless repetition that was written by someone who ran over the Wikipedia sides of the original films and forgot what it made for fun at all
In a generation curse concept that tries to return with the first film, Bloodlines does not waste time to establish a line-up of boring, one-note characters, the sole purpose of which is to die in an ever uninspired manner. The inventive death sequences on the Goldberg style, for which the series is known, are either ridiculously tame or something. Tension? Do not exist. Tension? Only when you wait for the credits to roll.

Even the much -vaunted connection of the film to previous entries feels like cheap fan service, which is sloppy during an exhibition with late files that does not give anything meaningful. And don’t even let us talk about the performances – most of the occupations seem to be picked from a CW audition room and handed over the script five minutes before shooting.
Bloodlines had the opportunity to honor the legacy of the franchise or reinvent it for a new generation. Instead, it falls and burns and leaves only a smoldering bunch of clichés, bad acting and wasted potential. Death can be inevitable – but this sequel should have been buried.
