Vertical reveals a trailer of “the astronaut” Cinemax
“What if something followed me back?”
Earlier in the day, Vertical revealed the official trailer for his next feature The astronaut. The preview, which can be seen below, shows an astronaut which has returned to earth, dealing with the unexpected.
The official synopsis of the film can be read as follows: “When an astronaut accident (Kate Mara) is found on earth, a general (Laurence Fishburne) places it in quarantine for rehabilitation and tests. As the disturbing events take place, she fears that something extraterrestrial has followed her house. ”
Written and directed by Jess Varley, The astronaut Stars Kate Mara, Laurence Fishburne, Gabriel Luna, Ivana Militiavic, Macy Gray and Scarlett Holmes.
The film had its first at the Festival of South West Cinema and television in 2025 in March.
